Safran Aerosystems USA in Wall Township, New Jersey is seeking an Experienced Project Manager II to lead the development of new evacuation system products. You will manage cross-functional teams, define strategy, maintain schedules and budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across Safran's North American operations.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least five years of project leadership in complex environments; a Master's is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in complex settings.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in cost control, scheduling, and delivering on schedules.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project for development of new evacuation system products.
• Define high-level strategy with WBS, OBS, estimates, and tracking.
• Ensure quality/cost/delivery performance for project and work packages.
• Manage execution according to company PM processes.
• Lead the technical team and provide necessary resources.
• Supervise deliverables of the work packages.
• Optimize schedules, costs, and product maturity.
• Manage risks/opportunities and mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulations.
• Ensure team competencies and contribute to PM networks.
