Job summary

Voith US Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to lead safety and environmental programs and drive a top-quartile safety culture across two sites and field teams throughout North America.

You will develop KPIs to reduce serious injuries, implement a behavioral-based HSE program, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with leaders to embed safety into daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Professional HSE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Effective leader who can elevate safety culture.
• Strong ability to build relationships and influence people.
• Proactivity is a must.
• Minimum five years of progressive HSE experience.
• Experience building a safety culture and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver KPI reductions in serious injuries and improve risk scores.
• Establish a behavioral-based HSE program aligned with goals.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with policies and procedures.
• Elevate HSE culture through training and coaching key stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and address root causes of incidents.
