HSC Research Scientist in Abilene, TX. Perform biological technician job duties. Under supervision of research professor, plan, execute, and oversee original research projects involving drug discovery and biological research. Draft and execute experiments. Perform data analysis, interpret results, contribute to publication efforts, and disseminate research. Compile periodic data reports and review literature and research proposals. Provide guidance to personnel involved in research projects.
In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA‑48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure. It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security‑related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.
