Motion's Orlando hydraulic hose shop seeks a Fabricator to assemble high-precision hose assemblies for top customers. You will interpret blueprints, follow specifications, and maintain tight tolerances under supervision.
You will collaborate with the team to ensure quality, safe operation of equipment, and accurate production records while contributing to efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
SUMMARY This position is set in a Hydraulic Hose Shop with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing. Under direct supervision, the HSC- Fabricator makes hydraulic hose assemblies for a variety of high-profile customers necessitating superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Fabricator is responsible for executing high precision operations and meeting specifications whilst working within very tight tolerances by interpreting blueprints, consulting specifications, and following the processes in place. The Fabricator operates all kinds of mechanical tools and machinery under the guidance of a supervisor.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Knowledge and ability to read a ruler. Read and understand work orders. Knowledge of mathematics and its application.
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds.
