Job summary

The New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking a qualified Long-Term Substitute Instructional Assistant to support high school students with IEPs during the 2026/2027 school year. Immediate starting date with full-time hours and on-site duties at New Hope, PA.

Responsibilities include instructional and behavioral support, data collection, and collaboration with teachers to plan lessons and assessments. Strong emphasis on inclusivity and student empowerment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PA Special Education Certification and/or teaching experience are preferred qualifications.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support for high school students.
• Administer assessments and collect data as needed.
• Supervise students during lunch and non-instructional times.
• Maintain records for the assigned student and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide supports, adaptations, and modifications for students with disabilities.
