Job summary

Spartanburg Community College is seeking a dedicated coordinator to manage the College's temporary employment process, including HR transactions in Colleague, offboarding, and maintaining employee files.

The role ensures compliance with federal and state employment rules, supports new employee orientation for TMP employees, and assists with HR projects and reporting. Evening/weekend hours and travel to other campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and clerical or administrative experience.
• A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related area or a minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
• SHRM / HRCI Certification.
• Evening/weekend hours and travel to other campuses may occasionally be required for scheduled events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the College's employment process for temporary employees, including transactions in Colleague.
• Maintain or research position information and generate reports.
• Assist with new employee orientation for TMP employees and benefits enrollment.
• Serve as backup for HR staff and respond to information requests.
