Scope: The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with a focus on the JAMIS HCM system. This role involves maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and providing technical support to ensure efficient HR operations. The specialist will collaborate with the HR, IT, and Finance teams to enhance system functionality and support organizational goals.
The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of functions, including but not limited to:
General Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the HRIS, with a primary focus on the JAMIS software.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
Generate and analyze HRIS reports to support decision-making and compliance.
Provide technical support and training to HR staff and other system users.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to implement system updates, upgrades, and enhancements.
Develop and document HRIS procedures, workflows, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to HRIS data.
Support payroll and benefits administration by ensuring accurate data integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HRIS management or a related role.
Proficiency in the JAMIS software and/or experience with other HRIS platforms
