Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. is looking for an HRIS Specialist to manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and support payroll operations. This hybrid role based in Eden Prairie, MN, requires strong technical aptitude and at least 5 years of relevant HR experience.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2+ days/week in the Eden Prairie, MN office. In‑office days will vary based on training, department meetings and payroll schedules.
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, and integrity of the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), in addition to other systems supported by the HR Team. The HRIS/Payroll Specialist is the subject matter expert with ownership of system performance, offering support to employees and management alike. This role serves as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll and IT to ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and effective integration across platforms.
In addition, this position provides primary back‑up support for payroll processing to ensure continuity and accuracy of payroll operations, and supports other HR programs as needed, including leave administration, training, and broader HR initiatives to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Five years of directly relevant experience can be substituted for degree.
Ability to see, hear, listen, with use of dexterity in hands for clerical duties within the job. Ability to perform extensive computer work, being sedentary for extended periods.
Standard office environment: frequent use of personal computer, scanning, copy machines, and other office equipment.

The expected salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 per year depending on qualifications plus a discretionary bonus and employee stock program.
