Produce Careers seeks an Employee Administration Manager for a Central Coast company. You will own HR administration for ~325 employees across departments, focusing on compliance, onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, benefits, and HRIS optimization.

Based in northern Santa Barbara County, the role is full-time with a preference for in-office work but hybrid arrangements are considered. You will report to the CFO and partner with the CEO and Safety Manager to scale the employee

Competenze

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with payroll and benefits ownership.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and agricultural labor regulations.
• Experience supporting hourly and seasonal workforce in operations or field settings.
• Ability to design streamlined administrative processes with accuracy and controls.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems, preferably Paylocity.

Mansioni

• Oversee payroll processing for hourly and salary staff and ensure compliance.
• Manage benefits administration across medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding activities and maintain HR records.
• Optimize Paylocity and other HRIS modules for reporting and efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory reporting (ACA, Pay Data, etc.) is timely and accurate.
• Develop and maintain organizational charts and job descriptions.
