Job summary

Nordson Corporation is seeking an IT Manager to lead the HRIS team, driving technical and functional leadership across Workday, UKG Dimensions, Dayforce, and related HR tech. You will partner with HR and ETS to align solutions with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

The role covers architecture, delivery standards, security, integrations, and roadmaps, with responsibility for vendor management, budgeting, and continuous improvement across global HR technology platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of HRIS experience; enterprise applications knowledge.
• Strong experience with Workday and related HR technologies (Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, Time & Attendance).
• Experience leading HR technology implementations, integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Understanding of HR processes, solution delivery, and business process analysis.
• Experience with workflow automation and AI-enabled capabilities; vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership for the HR technology portfolio, including architecture direction and security.
• Lead delivery, support, and optimization of HR platforms such as Workday, UKG Dimensions, and Dayforce.
• Guide complex designs ensuring alignment with priorities and enterprise standards.
• Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to identify requirements and implement solutions.
• Establish governance, adoption strategies, and best practices for HR tech platforms and services.
• Contribute to HR tech roadmaps and planning with HR and IT leadership.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/automation) to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, vendor management, and resource allocation.
• Lead implementation, maintenance, and support; manage changes and deployments.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing HRIS team; manage workloads and career growth.
• Monitor metrics and report to HR/IT leadership; drive continuous improvement.
