Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Nashville is seeking an HRIS / HR Generalist to join the growing HR team. This role blends HR operations with HRIS administration, focusing on process improvement, automation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience with HRIS capabilities, a bachelor’s degree, and a strong working knowledge of UKG. Primary duties include data integrity, lifecycle transactions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience with HRIS administration.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience with HRIS administration, reporting, data management, or workflow optimization.
• UKG experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for HR systems administration, reporting, data integrity, and process optimization.
• Support HRIS configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, and workflow improvements.
• Manage employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and external vendors to maintain accurate employee data and effective system functionality.
• Build, maintain, and audit HR reports, dashboards, and compliance-related data.
• Identify opportunities for automation and employee self-service enhancements.
• Conduct HR data audits, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
• Support orientation, employee records management, compliance reporting, and HR operational initiatives.
• Maintain I-9 documentation, personnel records, and employment-related compliance activities.
