Job summary

Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is seeking an HRIS Manager responsible for strategic management, administration, and continuous improvement of HR information systems and workforce data operations. The role serves as the owner of HR technology and a liaison between HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.

You will lead system configuration, security, reporting, and analytics, build dashboards, ensure data quality, and guide projects from planning through implementation.

Qualifications

• Five years of combined IT/HRIS experience, including supervisory or lead work.
• Experience with enterprise HRIS, BI/reporting platforms, advanced Excel, data analysis.
• Ability to translate HR requirements into technology solutions.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and business process improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the HRIS strategy, administration, and data operations.
• Lead HR data governance, security, and reporting initiatives.
• Oversee BI reporting, dashboards, and analytics for leadership.
• Coordinate projects with IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop system documentation and staff training.
