Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago is seeking an HRIS Manager to lead the delivery and maintenance of the firm’s HRIS (UKG).

You will manage day-to-day HRIS operations, coordinate with vendors, and develop robust reporting to support HR, payroll, and benefits processes. The role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and collaborates across departments to ensure data integrity and system enhancements within UKG, ViDesktop, PolicyTech and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, CS or related field preferred.
• 8+ years HRIS administration experience in professional services.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• 1+ year HRIS project management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of HR systems (UKG, ViDesktop, PolicyTech) including testing and configuration updates.
• Provide end-user support, research issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and improve efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain reports and queries with high accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity across HR, Accounting, Finance and other systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on upgrades and integrations.
• Maintain HR/payroll data integrity and run audits and queries.
• Design communications for system integrations and updates.
• Lead HRIS implementation design for modules within UKG (self-service, benefits, attendance).
• Create customized reports with HR team and ensure data accuracy.
