Job summary

West Virginia University is seeking an HRIS Data & Reporting Specialist for the Talent and Culture team. This onsite role in Morgantown supports data analysis, reporting, and ERP modernization efforts, collaborating with HR leadership to deliver actionable insights.

You will develop dashboards in Tableau and Workday, automate recurring reports, and translate complex data for non-technical audiences. WVU offers strong benefits and a balanced work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in data analytics, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of data analysis, reporting, BI, or related analytics work.
• Experience designing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar tools.
• 2+ years Workday reporting experience, including Advanced/Composite/Matrices reports.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from Workday and other systems.
• Create dashboards and reports to inform workforce planning and decisions.
• Monitor HR metrics such as turnover and hiring trends.
• Partner with IT and HR to ensure data quality and system improvements.
• Translate data into clear insights for leadership and stakeholders.
