Job summary

City of Frisco is seeking an HRIS Data Analyst to maintain employee records in the HRIS, support workflows, and generate reports. The role collaborates across HR to ensure accurate lifecycle activities and compliance, while supporting system configuration and testing of HR modules.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, training documentation, and partnering with IT/vendors to implement upgrades and improvements in a municipal environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business administration or computer information systems or related degree and two (2) years of HRIS or HR systems related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience that support the ability to perform the essential functions and/or skills of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates employee records in the HRIS.
• Supports system workflows and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Responds to routine inquiries regarding employee data and participates in projects that impact HR data and systems.
• Generates standard and ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Analyzes workforce data and trends.
• Configures and tests HRIS modules.
• Monitors data integrity and audits to ensure accuracy and provides first-line support to staff and managers on HRIS use.
• Documents processes, procedures, and training materials for HRIS functions.
• Participates in testing new features, patches, and releases and coordinates with IT and vendors to resolve system issues.
• Supports onboarding and offboarding tasks related to HRIS.
• Assists with HRIS projects including system upgrades, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
