Job summary

St. Louis Community College is seeking an experienced HRIS Banner Analyst to support Banner ERP for Human Resources/Payroll. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing processes aligned with college policies and documenting custom code.

The candidate will create SQL scripts, build HR reports, test upgrades, and troubleshoot issues, working with HRIS Banner Lead and IT Banner team to ensure data accuracy and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Ellucian ERP and ERP financial modules preferred.
• SQL coding and programming knowledge preferred.
• Experience with BI reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Hyperion, Cognos, Tableau, ODS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR/Payroll IT liaison for Banner ERP functional support.
• Develop and implement Banner processes aligned with College policies.
• Create and maintain SQL scripts and HRIS reports.
• Test, document, and implement system changes and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with HRIS Lead and IT Banner team on reporting standards.
