Job summary

Lakeland Community College seeks a highly detailed HRIS-minded professional to lead data-driven HR operations on-site. The role centers on acting as an Ellucian Banner super user for HR modules and translating the full-time faculty collective bargaining agreement into salary planning, annual contracts, and pay reports.

You will maintain HR records, coordinate with Payroll and Budget, design reports, ensure compliance, and train staff on Banner processes.

Qualifications

Associate degree and/or five or more years of experience as HRIS user with broad understanding of HR functions, policies, legal requirements and objectives.
Requires functional understanding of HRIS database and office software systems such as Excel and Access, and general knowledge of the college budget structure and payroll processes.
An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Serve as a superuser for Ellucian Banner HRIS, maintaining accurate HR records and reports.
Coordinate with Payroll and Budget departments on compensation and labor distribution.
Ensure completion and compliance of required HR documents for new records and personnel actions.
Review source documents for signatures and policy adherence, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Respond to payroll inquiries and assist employees with pay documents and corrections.
