Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an HR Report Developer to help transform HR data into actionable insights. This role requires over 4 years of experience in HR reporting and strong proficiency in SQL. You will design and maintain reports in Dayforce and analyze data to ensure accuracy. Ideal candidates are data-savvy professionals with excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree. This is a contract position based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HR reporting, HRIS, or data analysis, preferably in public sector.
• Proficiency in SQL for data management and reporting.
• Experience with HR reporting tools like Dayforce, Workday, UKG, or Oracle HCM.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage custom reports and dashboards in Dayforce HCM.
• Use SQL to validate and ensure data accuracy for recurring reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting specifications.
• Support HR helpdesk resolving user issues in Dayforce.
• Assist in W-2, ACA, and Open Enrollment testing and documentation.

Insight Global is seeking a HR Report Developer to join our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team. This role is ideal for a data-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about transforming HR data into actionable insights.

Base pay range

$42.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Must Haves

• 4+ years of experience in HR reporting, HRIS, or data analysis (public sector experience a plus).
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience implementing Dayforce
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Maintain Reports: Build and manage custom reports and dashboards in Dayforce HCM (or similar platforms like Workday, UKG, Oracle HCM).
• Data Analysis: Use SQL to query, validate, and ensure the accuracy of recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Translate Needs into Solutions: Work closely with stakeholders to turn functional requirements into technical reporting specifications.

As Reporting Needs Decrease, You’ll Also

• Support the HR helpdesk, resolving user issues in Dayforce and other HR systems.
• Assist with W-2, ACA, and Open Enrollment testing and documentation.
• Contribute to broader HRIS projects as needed.
