JOB SUMMARY: This position plays a critical role within the Human Resource Information System team to optimize processes and document all standard operating procedures and resolve process / procedure issues. This position requires strong Human Resource Information System knowledge and analytical skills, along with the ability to exercise judgment. Ensure compliance of established policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations in addition to compliance programs such as SOX and Hi-Trust. Serve as the subject matter expert for Human Resource Information Systems.
Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, system security, and customization of system features.
- Audit and analysis of HRIS data to identify issues or errors. Research and problem solve issues as they arise; performs root cause analysis to determine the cause of system/processing errors and develops recommendations to address findings and prevent future errors
- Develop techniques to improve the efficiency and accuracy of HRIS processes and procedures. Create/maintain documentation of said process and procedures.
- Participate in HRIS project management including system implementations and integrations with databases related to HRIS
- Monitor and implement system upgrades and enhancements to ensure the HRIS remains current and effective.
- Liaise with HRIS vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage user access and permissions within the HRIS to ensure data security and compliance.
- Oversee data migration processes during system upgrades or transitions to new HRIS platforms.
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines, departments, and levels within the organization including but not limited to Talent, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Technology.
- Creates, Prepares, and distributes standard HRIS reports in addition to managing ad-hoc report requests and monitoring data flow between various systems
- Design, develop, and maintain HRIS dashboards to provide real-time insights and analytics to HR and management teams.
- Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand data visualizations to represent HR metrics and trends.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on HRIS functionalities, updates, and dashboards.
- Maintain confidentiality of all data and comply with federal regulation and company policy on release/reporting of data.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
- Maintain compliance with SOX procedures, Hi-Trust, and other company mandated compliance programs.
- Demonstrate the Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

Job Scope
The incumbent works under minimal supervision and relies on established guidelines and experience to complete job responsibilities. Work requires a broad range of knowledge of the HRIS & Payroll fields gained through experience and is varied and complex. The incumbent applies knowledge of policies and procedures as well as the knowledge gained through experience to solve problems and to assist team members with application of policy and procedure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of progressive experience in HRIS and Payroll support.
- ADP EV6 and Enterprise E*time experience preferred.
- Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable,
- Experience with federal, state and local/city payroll taxes
- Advanced Excel Skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, Chart Creation
- Attentive to detail.
- Customer service, communication (written, verbal and listening), interpersonal, analytical, organization, and problem resolution skills.
- Takes responsibility for own actions; takes ownership for issues and sees them through from beginning to end.
- Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to responsibilities of job, including MS Office
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
- Ability to adjust/alter workflow to meet deadlines.
- Ability to process complex verbal and written instructions and translate them into a series of logical problem solving steps.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt, and meet deadlines within a time sensitive environment.

- Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - 90,000. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
