R+L Carriers in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Workers' Compensation/Injury Recovery Specialist for 1st shift. This full-time onsite role coordinates nationwide workers’ compensation programs and supports injured employees through recovery.

You will manage claim data, investigations, and outreach while collaborating with attorneys, providers, and managers to ensure proper medical and financial handling. Exceptional discretion is essential.

1st shift, Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for aWorkers' Compensation/Injury Recovery Specialistin our Wilmington, OH. service center. The Workers' Compensation/Injury Recovery Specialist coordinates the monitoring and administration of the workers’ compensation program nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain workers' compensation claim data and documentation
• Conducting timely claim investigations
• Proactive employee outreach throughout the recovery process
• Collaborating with interdepartmental personnel and leadership
• Communication with attorneys, managers and health care providers; partnering with third party administrators to coordinate claim compensability, medical treatment, and financial management
• Monitor claim progress and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding action items to support successful claim resolution

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate-level skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Position requires 100% onsite attendance
• Prior experience in workers' compensation, a law office, or a paralegal role is preferred
• Professional, positive, and energetic demeanor with a strong commitment to attendance and reliability
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage daily workloads
• Flexible and willing to perform a variety of responsibilities while adjusting schedules as business needs require
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
