Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Director of HR Solutions to shape and drive strategic people transformation initiatives that enable enterprise transformation, workforce readiness, and AI-enabled operating models. You will partner with business leaders, COEs, and People Strategists to design and implement people strategies across large-scale change.

This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring thoughtful assessment of people implications and adoption, and leading organizational design and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in organizational design, workforce transformation, change management.
• 4+ years of direct or matrixed leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience assessing people implications of transformation including workforce planning and role design.
• Deep expertise in organizational design, spans and layers, governance, and organization diagnostics.
• Experience with AI-enabled transformation and responsible AI practices.
• Strong executive relationship-building and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to senior leaders on enterprise transformation, AI-enabled work and evolving operating models.
• Advise on people implications of AI adoption, capabilities, and workforce planning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop integrated people strategies for transformation.
• Lead organizational design and workforce strategies to enable sustained transformation.
• Drive enterprise change management ensuring readiness, alignment, capability building, and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with sponsors and teams to define scope, deliverables, resources, and governance.
• Drive on-time execution of milestones and maintain accountability throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate transformation risks and integrate engagement and capability-building.
