Job summary

Lumen is hiring a Director of HR Solutions to shape strategic people transformation, partnering with executives to drive enterprise change and AI-enabled operating models. You will guide organizational design, workforce strategy, and change adoption, ensuring readiness and sustained transformation across the business.

Remote role across the U.S. with opportunities to influence diverse functions, governance, and talent capability development while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with organizational design and workforce transformation.
• 4+ years of direct or matrixed leadership experience.
• Experience assessing people implications of transformation (design, capability needs, change adoption).
• Deep expertise in organizational design, spans and layers, governance, and diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of generative AI and AI agents and their impact on workforce design.
• Strong executive relationship-building and influence with senior leaders.
• Analytical with data-driven decision making and measurable outcomes.
• High learning agility, ambiguity tolerance, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on enterprise transformation and AI-enabled changes.
• Advise on people implications of AI adoption, including redesign and workforce planning.
• Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives to develop integrated people strategies.
• Develop and execute organizational design and workforce strategies for evolving operating models.
• Lead enterprise change management with readiness, governance, and adoption measures.
• Collaborate with sponsors and teams to define scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Drive timely delivery of milestones, progress updates, and accountability.
• Identify transformation risks and integrate employee engagement and capability-building.
