Job summary

Walmart in North Platte, NE is seeking a supervisory HR professional to lead staffing, training, and HR operations for a distribution or logistics facility.

You'll oversee benefits, payroll support, staffing initiatives, and ensure compliance with HR policies while developing associates and leaders across the organization. The role emphasizes Open Door policy adherence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within Walmart's logistics framework.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years' supervisory experience, including 1 year's experience managing human resource processes OR 1 year's Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Walmart Logistics Systems and HR processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and implement HR business plan, staffing, scheduling, and training requirements.
• Manage HR office admin: benefits, hiring, transfers, payroll, and recruiting initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, maintain HR documents, and support HR systems.
• Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns and determine corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders; provide feedback, coaching, and development.
• Coordinate training: orientation, CB L modules, web-based and virtual training.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
• Promote an inclusive culture and talent development; support Open Door policy.
