Kings County is seeking a qualified Human Resources Technician I/II to support recruitment, onboarding, personnel, payroll, and administrative processes critical to County operations. The role rewards detail-oriented individuals who meet deadlines and provide excellent service to staff and the public.

Level I and II offer diverse responsibilities from screening resumes to administering examinations and maintaining records.

Formación

• Experience with recruitment and onboarding procedures.
• Payroll processing knowledge and accuracy required.
• Maintaining employee personnel files and records.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate recruitment and selection processes for County departments; manage job announcements, screens, and onboarding.
• Organize and administer examinations, interviews, and eligibility lists; assist with job offers and onboarding steps.
• Process pre-employment screenings including background checks and testing.
• Coordinate payroll actions and maintain payroll records and reports.
• Maintain employee personnel files and ensure updates to salary and benefits.
