Job summary

State of Georgia, Bureau of Investigation, is seeking an HR Tech 1 or 2 to handle personnel actions, payroll, and benefits processing. The role includes onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and supporting confidential HR activities in a government environment.

The position requires working knowledge of Workday, benefits programs, FMLA, and related regulations. Some travel and a valid Georgia driver’s license may be required, with an emphasis on accurate records and service-oriented communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus 6 months HR-related experience.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, leave, ADA and benefits.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process personnel actions and payroll transactions.
  • Administer FMLA, Workers' Comp, Benefits and ADA for staff.
  • Prepare reports and maintain personnel records.
  • Conduct New Employee Orientation and onboarding/offboarding.
