Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Technology Analyst to join the HR Technology and Employee Experience portfolio in a hybrid role. You will partner with HR, product, and engineering teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and acceptance criteria.

You will analyze HR data, interfaces, and integrations across SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP/CPI, reporting tools, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities. The role includes testing, documentation, and support through the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years in technology analysis, business systems analysis, HR tech, data analysis, or software delivery.
• Foundational knowledge of requirements gathering, data analysis, integrations, APIs, and cloud tech.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP/CPI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, business, product and tech teams to understand processes and outcomes.
• Gather, document and translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support HR technology roadmap initiatives across SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP and CPI.
• Assist with SaaS product evaluations, use cases, and integration considerations.
• Work with developers to ensure alignment with business needs and architecture.
• Support reporting, analytics, and data-driven HR insights.
• Participate in SIT/UAT, regression testing, and defect tracking.
• Create process flows, data mappings, test cases and release docs.
