Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Technology Analyst to join the HR Technology and Employee Experience portfolio on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week). You will partner with HR, product, and technology teams to analyze business needs and deliver technology solutions across SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP, CPI, and related platforms.

You will gather requirements, document user stories, support roadmaps, and contribute to testing, analytics, and reporting to drive employee insights and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–4 years of professional experience in technology analysis, business systems analysis, HR technology, data analysis, software delivery, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of business and systems analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis, integrations, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP, CPI, and related HR technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, business, product, and technology teams to understand business processes, requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the planning and execution of HR Technology roadmap initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Support SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP, CPI, and other enterprise platforms.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, integrations, and APIs to identify requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with SaaS product evaluations and PoCs by documenting use cases and dependencies.
• Work with developers to ensure alignment with business needs and architectural guidelines.
• Support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and data-driven HR insights.
