Portola Hotel & Spa is seeking an HR Coordinator to greet visitors and support the HR office's day-to-day operations in Monterey, CA. You will manage incoming calls, walk-in inquiries, recruitment coordination, and maintain employee records in HRIS.

You will assist with payroll, benefits enrollments, orientation, and employee communications while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. This role emphasizes guest service in our hospitality culture and requires strong organizational skills and

• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Mansioni

• Greet visitors, employees and applicants and manage day-to-day HR office operations.
• Maintain employee records and files, interview documents and I-9s.
• Assist with payroll, benefits enrollments and HRIS data entry.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews and applicant tracking.
• Assist in new hire orientation, onboarding packets and processing of new hire paperwork.
• Support employee relations events, recognition programs and communications.
• Assist with background checks, reference checks and employment verifications.
• Audit and submit required EEO/AA reports and maintain confidential records.
• Support safety, workers’ compensation, and compliance-related activities.
