Job summary

Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, CA is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support across HR functions, ensuring compliant and efficient operation. This role supports staff and management and serves as a key point of contact for daily HR processes.

Responsibilities include onboarding, payroll data entry into Paychex, file maintenance, I-9 and EEO-1 records, recruitment support, job descriptions, and HR reporting.

Qualifications

• Confidential handling of sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Fluent bilingual Spanish communication support for staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute onboarding, including payroll data entry into Paychex.
• Create, maintain, and audit employee files in compliance with retention rules.
• Maintain I-9 and EEO-1 records per federal/state regulations.
• Process payroll changes in Paychex, including tax withholdings.
• Support recruitment activities including screening and interview coordination.
• Draft and update job descriptions as organizational needs evolve.
• Generate HR reports and assist with wage/compensation analysis.
• Maintain HR and office supply inventories.
