Job summary

Cavco Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting & Human Resources Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for our Retail Division.

You will work with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Regional HR Manager to manage entry-level recruiting, onboarding, and employee status changes across multi-location operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and capable of handling tasks from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR administration, recruiting coordination, payroll support, or related field.
• Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems; UKG experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with onboarding, personnel transactions, and HR documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask with deadlines.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Experience supporting multi-location operations and an associate degree in HR or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting activities for entry-level roles, including postings, screening, communications, and interview scheduling.
• Manage onboarding from offer through the first 90 days and track background checks.
• Coordinate employee promotions, transfers, and status changes with HR, Payroll, and IT.
• Maintain HR documentation, trackers, and process guides, and pursue workflow improvements.
