Job Description
Parsons is looking for a talented HR Systems Specialist, Workday to join our HR Systems and Analytics team. In this role you will support Workday as part of the HR Systems and Analytics team, focusing on Talent Acquisition/Recruiting and Learning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning Teams to analyze needs, enhancements, and change requests within Workday
- Act as liaison between functional teams and technical counterparts to help define and clarify requirements for change requests and new features
- Perform hands‑on configuration and testing of updates to the Workday modules
- Work closely with business leaders and internal customers to understand their processes, priorities, and future road‑map initiatives; provide recommendations to support those initiatives.
- Partner with HRIT system administrators in maintenance, implementations, and configurations in Workday modules
- Work with internal Workday Talent Acquisition and Learning module administrator in performing hands‑on system configurations and testing
- Manage and respond to Jira tickets and requests from stakeholders through resolution
- Provide innovative and beneficial suggestions for improvements to current processes within Workday system
- Provide recommendations and analysis for bi‑annual Workday feature releases
- Work with HR systems team members to partner on cross‑functional updates and enhancements
- Continuously research system/market changes and recommendations via Workday Community and competitors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Human Resources, IT, or another related discipline.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Workday HRIS
- Knowledge and experience in working with Talent Acquisition and/or Learning and Development teams preferred
- Ability to combine HR functional knowledge with Workday technical expertise to define requirements for business needs
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate needs to and from stakeholders
- Ability to oversee and deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines
- Integrity, accountability, advanced professionalism, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee information

Compensation
Salary Range: $70,500 - $123,400.
