Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for an HR Systems and Operations Analyst II to join our HRIS team. This role maintains HR systems integrity, designs and tests new solutions, and provides reporting, analytics, and BI dashboards for HR operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong ETL experience (SSIS), database programming in T-SQL/PL-SQL, data warehousing, and the ability to translate HR needs into reliable reports in collaboration with IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, CS, Math or related field.
• Five+ years of related experience required.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR systems, integrations, and processes to develop Compliance and BI dashboards
• Develop and support automated reporting for federal, state, and local requirements
• Support HR decisions with custom reporting and metrics
• Maintain and improve HR Data Warehouse by building data pipelines
• Create and troubleshoot SQL jobs and ETL/export processes
