Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor to lead the HR team, provide guidance on HR matters, and coordinate staffing with the Distribution Center. This onsite Sacramento area role focuses on payroll backup, benefits queries, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 3+ years of HR supervisory experience in warehouse or production settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin with HR concentration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of HR generalist and supervisory experience (recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee relations, safety).
• Strong communication and Excel skills; bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on HR issues to management.
• Assist in managing employee and temporary staffing with the DC Manager.
• Oversee performance management and ensure policy compliance.
• Facilitate communication across all employee levels.
• Collaborate with temporary agencies to ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in payroll and benefits as a backup.
• Handle employee complaints and EEOC charges.
• Implement and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Monitor the work environment and report issues to management.
• Manage unemployment claims processing and hearings.
• Support safety and workers’ compensation programs.
• Answer employee questions on benefits and open enrollment.
• Monitor new hire pay ranges and compliance.
• Supervise daily HR department activities.
• Maintain accurate I-9 forms.
• Maintain distribution center organization charts.
• Maintain personnel transaction records and data reporting.
• Stay updated on employment law and compliance.
• Conduct exit interviews and propose improvements.
• Oversee training initiatives and new employee orientation.
