Morgan Stanley is seeking high-potential undergraduates for a 10-week Summer Analyst program in Human Resources in New York. The program blends firmwide and HR-specific training with exposure to senior management.

Analysts will rotate through HR functions, participate in trainings, and work on projects that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation window between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.
• Interest in applying AI to streamline HR workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical skills to analysis or process improvement.
• Team player with attention to detail and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR teams to design programs that attract, retain and motivate employees.
• Create reports with compensation and headcount analytics for management.
• Collaborate across HR to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• Support client delivery teams with employee relations investigations and policy inquiries.
• Apply AI or other technical knowledge to optimize HR problems and processes.
• Gain a broad understanding of the HR operating model and its interdependencies.
• Present findings to HR senior management.
