Job summary

Amazon Bronx is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide HR generalist support for a large hourly population and leadership teams. You will drive talent management, employee experience, and operational excellence while partnering with business leaders to deliver HR initiatives.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, coaching leaders, and implementing inclusive, high-performing programs. Onsite presence is required at an Amazon facility in Bronx, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• 2+ years HR experience or equivalent experiences (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing).
• Experience supporting and/or leading employee-focused processes such as onboarding, benefits, investigations, training and/or talent management.

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying patterns, addressing root causes, and making high-judgment decisions that align with policy while maintaining compliance.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and implement proactive solutions at the site level to improve employee experience and business performance.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs and maintain floor presence to gather insights.
• Coach leaders on people management practices, including performance feedback and team development.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
• Drive adoption of HR tech solutions, AI, and self-service tools to enhance user experience and efficiency.
