Job summary

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) is seeking a Unit Human Resources Specialist III to perform a wide range of HR administrative functions, including talent acquisition, consultation, data analytics, employee training and development and project management.

The role emphasizes full-cycle recruitment for faculty and staff, HR support and guidance to leaders, policy compliance, and workforce analytics to drive engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Master's degree in human resources or related field is preferred.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide full cycle talent acquisition for faculty and staff.
• Provide HR support to faculty and staff.
• Provide HR consultation and guidance to ULSD staff, faculty and leaders.
• Analyze data trends and metrics and prepare reports.
• Research, monitor and enforce internal policies and legal requirements.
• HR project management.
• Liaison with campus HR on FMLA, workers' compensation and benefits.
• Improve work relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Facilitate training and development plans and maintain records.
