Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) seeks an HR Specialist I to support a broad range of HR functions within the HR Planning Team in Michigan.

You will work closely with HR colleagues, leaders and employees to implement HR programs, policies and HRIS, ADP and SuccessFactors systems. Responsibilities include handling employee inquiries, organizational changes, performance processes and recruitment, plus maintaining records and coordinating engagement initiatives in a global company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 1 to 3+ years HR-related experience.
• Experience with ADP and HRIS products with multiple modules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions and policies.
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transfers and other transactions.
• Assist performance management process.
• Support maintaining employee records, HRIS updates and HR documentation.
• Support employee relations matters including employee concerns and workplace investigations.
• Support recruitment activities and onboarding process.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and corporate events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:

As a HR Specialist I, you’ll support a broad range of Human Resources functions in HR Planning Team. The HR Specialist I will work closely with HR team, business leaders and employees to support HR needs, implement HR programs and policies. This role also requires support and upkeep of HR systems within the organization including but not limited to, HRIS, ADP, and Success Factors.
