Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) is seeking an HR Specialist I to support a broad range of HR functions within the HR Planning Team.

You will work with HR colleagues, business leaders, and employees to support HR needs, implement programs and policies, and maintain HR systems including ADP and SuccessFactors. You will assist with HR processes, employee records, recruitment/onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives while contributing to a diverse, global workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience.
• 1 to 3+ years of related HR experience.
• Experience with ADP and other HCM/HRIS products with multiple modules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions and policies.
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transfers and other transactions.
• Assist performance management process.
• Support maintaining employee records, HRIS updates and HR documentation.
• Support employee relations matters including employee concerns and workplace investigations.
• Support recruitment activities and onboarding process.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and corporate events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:

As a HR Specialist I, you’ll support a broad range of Human Resources functions in HR Planning Team. The HR Specialist I will work closely with HR team, business leaders and employees to support HR needs, implement HR programs and policies. This role also requires support and upkeep of HR systems within the organization including but not limited to, HRIS, ADP, and Success Factors.
