Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) is seeking an HR Specialist I in Troy, MI to support a broad range of HR functions within the HR Planning Team.

The role collaborates with HR, business leaders, and employees to implement HR programs, manage HR systems (HRIS, ADP, SuccessFactors), and ensure accurate employee data. The successful candidate will assist with organizational changes, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and workplace investigations while contributing to a diverse,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience.
• 1 to 3+ years of related experience within HR.
• Experience with ADP and other HCM/HRIS products with multiple modules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions and policies
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transfers and other transactions
• Support maintaining employee records, HRIS updates and HR documentation
• Support employee relations matters including employee concerns and workplace investigations
• Support recruitment activities and onboarding process
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, and corporate events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Summary:

As a HR Specialist I, you’ll support a broad range of Human Resources functions in HR Planning Team. The HR Specialist I will work closely with HR team, business leaders and employees to support HR needs, implement HR programs and policies. This role also requires support and upkeep of HR systems within the organization including but not limited to, HRIS, ADP, and Success Factors.
