Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a Business Development Executive to accelerate revenue growth for its HR Solutions division. You will target net-new clients in the HCM/payroll market and position CBIZ as a consultative partner for modern HR solutions.

Lead the full sales cycle, from discovery to close, and collaborate with internal SMEs to tailor compelling business cases. Stay ahead of market trends and manage the CRM pipeline to drive predictable growth and successful onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience in HR, payroll, HR consulting, PEO, or related SaaS/HR technology.
• Proven ability to open doors, win net-new logos, and exceed revenue targets.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead full B2B sales cycle from outreach to close with discovery, proposals, and negotiation.
• Craft consultative business cases addressing HR, payroll, and workforce management challenges.
• Maintain market insights on HCM/payroll tech and competitive offerings.
• Collaborate with implementation and client service teams to onboard new clients.
• Manage opportunities and communications in the CRM with disciplined follow-up.
