The College of Charleston is seeking an HR Services Coordinator to manage data and employment processes for faculty, unclassified staff, coaches, and adjuncts. This role supports onboarding, terminations, payroll-related actions, and compliance across HR systems.
Responsibilities include accurate data processing, front desk support, and collaboration with Academic Affairs and Budgeting and Payroll Services to meet payroll deadlines. Strong Excel/Word/Teams skills are preferred.

Job Purpose | HR Services Coordinator accurately and proactively manages data and employment processes for all faculty, unclassified staff, coaches and adjuncts. Works closely with new and established employees, supervisors, Academic Affairs and Budgeting and Payroll Services to facilitate hiring, termination and employment changes accurately and within critical payroll deadlines. Monitors front desk and provides quality customer service to College’s staff, faculty, and visitors.
Minimum Requirements | Bachelor's degree and experience working with Human Resources-related systems and/or business processes is required. Experience onboarding faculty in a higher education environment is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Must have exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to accurate record-keeping and data entry. Must have the ability to proactively plan and self-audit workflows and processes regularly to ensure data accuracy. Must have the ability to initiate and implement administrative procedures and evaluate their effectiveness. Must be able to communicate, comprehend, and carry out complex oral and written instructions. Must be able to meet strict deadlines. Must be willing to work in an fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Should have proficiency in reporting and working with Excel, Word, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications. Technical proficiency in related systems and a willingness to utilize technology to proactively seek out solutions is highly preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Must be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with departmental representatives, College Administration, and other outside agencies.
