Job summary

Albany Med Health System seeks an HR Service Coordinator to be the welcoming first point of contact for employees, applicants, new hires, visitors, and callers. The role blends front-desk coverage with initial HR support, guiding routine inquiries to approved resources and assisting with Workday onboarding tasks and Form I-9 processing.

You will help ensure a smooth onboarding experience, maintain accurate records, and support HR operations while safeguarding confidential information in a busy

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Two years of customer-facing administrative or HR support experience preferred.
• Experience in a busy healthcare or multi-site environment is a plus.
• Understanding of HR programs, policies, and onboarding processes is essential.
• Familiarity with Workday onboarding and Form I-9 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent front-desk coverage and a warm welcome for employees, applicants, and visitors.
• Assist with Workday onboarding tasks and Form I-9 responsibilities in accordance with policies.
• Perform HR administrative transactions, recordkeeping, and data entry with accuracy and discretion.
• Escalate complex issues to HR subject matter experts and coordinate withPayroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and IT as needed.
