Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking an entry-level HR operations associate to support routine HR tasks and learn the various HR functions. You will perform clerical duties, data entry, and audit activities to ensure employee data accuracy in HRIS.

You will assist with onboarding, hiring, terminations, timekeeping, and program implementations including benefits and performance management, while supporting timekeeping and training system processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree required or 0 years experience.
• OR 2 years HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Supports HR operations by executing routine tasks with a significant focus on learning the various functions of HR.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support HR operations and projects.
• Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems.
• Recruiting activities including screening applicants, communicating with applicants and scheduling interviews and conducting phone screening
• Assists with delivering core HR processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management.
• May administer other HR systems used for timekeeping, performance, and training management processes.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• A) Bachelor's Degree Required, and 0 Years Applicable Experience
• OR
• B) 2 Years Applicable Experience HR experience Preferred

Pay Transparency

Pay range: $51,500 to $57,200 annually. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications.

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
