Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA is seeking an HR Reporting Analyst to join the HR Technology & Reporting team. This role will deliver accurate, secure workforce insights through Workday reporting and Power BI dashboards, handling data discovery, transformation, and recurring reporting in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, data science, information systems, mathematics, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on data analysis, reporting, workforce analytics, or BI experience.
• Experience handling sensitive data and creating recurring analytics deliverables.
• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, Workday reporting, or similar BI tools.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and data quality issues.
• Experience using AI-driven analytics tools to automate reporting and validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze moderately complex workforce data from HR systems, surveys, and records.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Excel, Workday reporting.
• Transform and reconcile HR data to ensure accurate, reliable reporting.
• Mine data to identify patterns and summarize findings for HR leaders and stakeholders.
• Suggest new data sources and methods to improve reporting for assigned workstreams.
• Create efficient queries and outputs for data requests and insights.
