Job summary

CoStar Group, a leading real estate information provider, seeks a Senior Workday Engineer in Arlington, VA. The role supports HRIS integrations and Workday modules, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will lead development activities, upgrade Workday, and coach power users while working in a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
4+ years of development experience, including 3+ years with Workday.
Experience with Workday in a technical capacity covering HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, Security, Report Writing, Integrations, and business processes.
Experience in developing and maintaining integrations using Workday core tools (Workday Studio, Workday Extend, Workday Prism, Core Connectors, CCB, Web Services, EIB).
Able to create innovative solutions for complex Workday integrations.
Proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
Ability to create project plans and timelines; thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain inbound and outbound integrations with multiple vendors.
Assist with configuration to enable new Workday features in recruiting, absence, payroll, performance management and benefits modules.
Configure Workday security for authorized access.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and deploy integration solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve processes with scalable automated solutions.
Maintain data integrity for critical fields feeding into other systems.
Lead future development activities including system upgrades and additional applications.
Coach power users on Workday functionality to maximize usage.
Work on projects with broad scope across multiple technologies.
