Job summary

CRMR, a family-owned Canadian hospitality company, is seeking a Recruiter to support talent acquisition across all properties. This is a remote contract role based in Calgary, AB, with an initial term of 3 months and potential for extension.

You will screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate offers, and build talent pipelines while ensuring a great candidate experience throughout the process. Experience in hospitality is essential; knowledge of Banff/Lake Louise labour market is a plus, and

• Previous experience in hospitality industry is a must
• Knowledge of Banff and Lake Louise labour market conditions and trends is an asset
• Hospitality degree/diploma graduate is an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Customer service mindset with a passion for helping others
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Enthusiasm for our mountain resort properties and company culture

Responsibilities

• Screen applicant resumes, conduct interviews to assess candidate fit, moving top talent forward
• Provide professional applicant status updates and respond to all candidates promptly and courteously
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership team on role criticality, interview process, and candidate assessments
• Prepare and extend employment offers, successfully closing candidates and promoting smooth onboarding
• Conduct reference checks
• Maintain accurate recruitment data
• Represent the company at job fairs and networking events
• Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Other additional HR support duties as assigned

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our HR Team. This is a remote position based in Calgary, AB. This is a contract position with an initial term of 3 months. Upon successful completion of the contract, there is potential for extension to a permanent position.

Primary Function: Support CRMR's talent acquisition efforts across all properties. This role will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
