Job summary

LHH in San Francisco is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to provide temporary project support within a growing organization. This full-time temporary role partners with the Human Resources team to manage projects, support HR operations, and implement initiatives that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

This assignment runs through mid-December 2026, with a hybrid schedule and onsite work balance; start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations, coordination, or project support.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning to completion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HR systems and technology platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multiple HR projects from planning through completion.
• Support performance review processes, reporting, and manager follow-up activities.
• Assist with employee engagement surveys, communications, and action planning initiatives.
• Coordinate planning and logistics for employee wellness and engagement events.
• Support employment compliance projects and HR record remediation efforts.
• Assist with implementation and configuration of a new applicant tracking system.
• Create, update, and improve onboarding, recruiting, rejection, and employee communication templates.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain organized project documentation and track deliverables across multiple initiatives.
