Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Plant Manager for our Schulenburg, TX Facility (Pet). The HR Plant Manager will oversee all Human Resources functions at this location and collaborate closely with Operations daily.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage HR staff, including hiring, training, and development, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
  • Implement programs, policies, and procedures ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
  • Provide training on medical, security, and safety services in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Lead the work environment through PBIP (Positive Behavior Intervention Plan) and QIP (Quality Improvement Plan).
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels with competent hourly and salaried associates, following employment best practices.
  • Lead change management initiatives and foster a culture open to change.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting automated timekeeping systems and onboarding new employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills for strategic and operational problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset with coaching skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for company business.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

The role is primarily sedentary but may require moving equipment, accessing files, or moving between offices. In plant environments, exposure to wet floors, varying temperatures, noise, chemicals, and the need to wear safety gear are possible. Climbing ladders may be necessary.
