Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an HR People Partner at our Mountain Home, AR manufacturing site. You will support change initiatives, recruitment, orientation, policy interpretation and compliance to enable an engaged, productive workforce.

The role emphasizes disability/FMLA administration, workers' comp intake, and employment relations within a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years HR experience, with flexible off-shift availability and strong coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Flex work schedule to support employees and managers on off-shifts as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to consult and coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of organization change initiatives.
• Assist in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt positions, students and temporary employees.
• Facilitate and maintain a new hire orientation program for successful new hire socialization and transition into the organization.
• Interpret and apply HR policies to ensure consistent application and balance business and employee needs.
• Administer disability and FMLA programs with focus on effective management.
• Perform workers' comp intake processing and support leave of absence/return to work administration.
