Danfoss Power Solutions in Mountain Home, AR is seeking an HR People Partner to motivate, coach, and help people at our manufacturing site. You will join the Industrial HR team to translate policies into practice and drive initiatives for a safe, productive workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, with flexible off-shift coverage. You’ll advise managers, recruit, and interpret policies while contributing to a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years progressive HR work experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility/environment.
  • Flex work schedule to support off-shifts as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of organization change initiatives.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts to high quality talent for exempt and nonexempt positions, students, and temporary employees.
  • Facilitate and maintain a new hire orientation program for successful onboarding.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, ensuring consistent application with business needs.
  • Administer disability and FMLA programs, with focus on effective management.
  • Perform worker’s comp intake processing; support leave of absence/return-to-work administration.
  • Participate in investigation and resolution of employee relations issues and advise management.
  • Handle employee relations counseling, stay and exit interviews; analyze data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Administer and coordinate HR plans and procedures and assist in local policy/development.
  • Develop HR goals, objectives, and SOPs.
  • Maintain employment records and ensure compliance with EEO/AAP/ADA.

The HR People Partner will be a part of a Industrial HR team creating an engaged and productive workforce through Danfoss’s policies, programs and best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the development and implementation of organization change initiatives.
  • Supports and assists in the recruitment efforts to high quality talent for exempt and nonexempt positions, students and temporary employees.
  • Facilitate and maintain a new hire orientation program for successful new hire socialization and transition into the organization, an introduction into the business, and familiarization with Company policy and procedure.
  • Interpret and apply human resource policies, procedures and programs, ensuring consistent application and balance business and employee needs in compliance with Company policy.
  • Administer disability and FMLA programs, with a focus on effective management.
  • Perform worker’s comp intake processing; support applicable leave of absence/return to work administration at the facility level.
  • Participates in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.
  • Handles employee relations counseling, stay and exit interviews; analyzes data and makes recommendations to management for corrective action and improvements.
  • Administer and coordinates various human resources plans and procedures and assists in the development, implementation and review of local policies and procedures.
  • Participates in developing HR goals, objectives, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains employment records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO/AAP/ADA regulations and requirements.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR management and business trends in the HR field.
